i am sorry for your loss, a month has gone by and it is still hard to beleive that a character like trent is gone. he has left a lasting impression in ireland and will not be forgotten. i hope justice is served. take care

Trent we've never met, I just came across the sad news on the web today and I was utterly shocked. I viewed your past work on this website, they not only tell me about the people and subject being photographed, but also revealing the vision, passion and spirit of the person behind the camera, I can feel the love and the energy you poured into your work, thank you for doing what you do and bringing the stories to the world. Being are photographer myself and in favor of photojournalism, you have inspired me. Rest in peace...

Hello Mike I am sorry that this message is late in coming but I have only just found out the sad news about Trent.My heartfelt condolences go to you and your family. I know he was your soulmate taken from you too early but you were all so fortunate to have shared time and make your own memories so special. kindest regards to all

Just thinking of Trish, Mike, Nicola and Scott today on the one month anniversary. I had Trent in my thoughts all day today- I think I miss him more now that a month has gone by. Driving back from a rainy wedding today there was a sudden burst of the most beautiful evening sunlight- it had Trent's name written all over it. xx Melissa

My friend Trent, you have left us, but you will always be with us in spirit, we are all going to miss you a lot. I have never seen anyone with a passion of taking photos till I met you Trent, you had a passion in whatever you did. You brought a smile and a laugh to a lot of us. And that is something we will live to remember you with. You are going to be missed by many. Families of SAAS and the students all pass their sympathy to your family. This is not easy for us to say good bye to you. Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us, our famous photographer.
