Just arrived on Pulau Tioman, an island in Malaysia. I am not a beach person, but you always have been and every time I am on the sand I am always thinking of you. Now more so, because its simply a fantastic beach with a sunset to match. Everywhere I've been traveling, I have this feeling that you are keeping an eye on me. And its true! In places where I don't know what to do or if I have some trouble, I would stop and think for a minute "What would Trent to?" And somehow the answer magically appears. You never failed us and even one year on, you still show us how to live life. For me, that's the stuff of legends. The trip to the beach is specially for you, just wish you could actually be here as well.

To my old mate Trent, you would be amazed and touched by the heartache you have left behind. One year on and I still miss that thunderous laugh, that fabulous larger-than-life personality,the nights out, the breakfasts, the jobs together, the travels (but not the crippling handshake!)Hard to believe it\'s a year. Galway seems empty without you, and life more mundane. Thinking of you Trish, Mike, Nikki and Scotty.

Cannot believe a year has past since Trent left us but so thankful for all those beautiful images he created, with both his photography and his life, that will stay with us all forever. Thinking of you today Trent and your family. The Volvo Ocean Race is on in Galway at the moment and there are many photos being taken of this wonderful event. We know that if you were here, you would be in the thick of it snapping away getting the best shots of the boats and the crowds!Having the craic with everyone.
