tributes

I am one of those people who only met Trent once, but once was enough. I was part of an American group attending a wedding outside of Galway at St. Clarens, a magical setting in itself, which Trent, with his charisma, good looks and considerable charm, helped shape into a once in a lifetime experience for all of us. We all joked that this particularly attractive wedding party had made his job easy that day, but as one person already stated, he still managed to make us all feel gorgeous and totally worth going to great lengths to capture a crazy beautiful image. I will always cherish the tiny moment my husband and I shared with him on the grand stairwell, as he attempted to take an official couple photo of us, per the bride and groom’s request…but you know how it is when the Guinness has been flowing. My husband was becoming self conscious and going into joke mode. Well Trent wasn’t having any of it. He basically told my husband, “Would you take a good look at your lovely wife, mate, and smarten up if you want to be in the picture?” It worked. Thank you Trent! Only someone blessed with an abundance inner beauty can so easily find it in others.

I only met Trent a couple of times but I found him to be both professional and a really nice guy. I was shocked to read of his passing and sorry that we won't get to work with him again. He left a real impression on us in that short time. I really am sorry for his family and friends.

so sad to hear the shocking news of the death of such a vibrant, talented and warm guy. We were priveleged to have Trent photograph our wedding in the true style that is only Trent's. Sincere sympathies to his family on the passing of a very special person.

I am truly shocked at the news about Trent, It only seems like 5 minutes ago I drank a pint of guiness with the big man in Galway....Trent was the kind of guy you could instantly be friends with and feel like you had known him all your life, he was a fantastic guy and I will never forget him, RIP big fella.

I knew Trent for a short while several years ago and and he was the kind of guy that gave you real faith in the human race. He had a soul that radiated warmth and light. I will be having a single malt whiskey in you honour tonight. To Nikki, Trish and Mike, my thoughts and prays are with you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Trent last July at my brothers wedding at St. Cleran's Manor House in Craughwell, Ireland. The photographer, Melissa Mannion brought him along to photograph the wedding as well. As soon as I met him, I instantly felt like I had known him a long time. He just had such an infectious personality you couldn't help but love him. His accent, his quirky manner and his bright blue eyes. Trent just made me, my family and everyone at the wedding feel at ease. I remember him crawling on top of the roof to get an ariel photo of our group. He was like spiderman! I also remember when he was photographing my boyfriend and I, he made us feel like supermodels! I was so very sad to hear that he had passed away. He was a huge part in my brothers wedding and my family and friends will never forget him. Everytime I look at the wedding pictures I will remember he captured so many of those moments behind the lens. His spirit will live on in all of us. He was a man that died doing what he loved and what he was so passionate about. He will be missed. I send my deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

The story of Trent got me in quite a peculiar way, meeting one of his many friends, Benny, while hitch-hiking in Ireland. It touched me deeply and while he was driving on the narrow roads I couldn't help trying to imagine Trent and identifying with all of you-Trent's family and friends, as the stunning views were running in front of my eyes. I would think these are the places he loved to go and we were driving along to share those with him for the very last time. For Trent's memory. So still thinking about him and would like to express my condolences to all of you.

A departed hero, For the journey he took alone. There was always a light at the crest of his mind he was an angel in the midst Brave and bold Seconds shared Divine moments with an angel The doves of his friendship always alight His wings where filled with blessings An anointed visionary Like a flying dove He unfurled his wings unto tinted sky To touch the heart of those in need Oblivious of the eagles eyes Gazing malevolently As the sunsets With the last doused flame His light shines deep in our souls For each one has fragments of him in our hearts Carrying his immaculate spirit forward Creating his immortality Stretching afar His white wings in shear determination Sleeving them in the silver frills of journalism To share the hidden truth of deep within May his soul rest in peace By Collins M Gituma

Rest in Peace Bro.
Rest in Peace Bro.
I met Trent a few years ago through work in Galway. I loved his energy as soon as I met him, plus I thought he was absolutely gorgeous! I really wish I had gotten to know him better - he was clearly very much loved. My deepest sympathies to his family on their loss.
